The bushland in our suburbs is getting smaller every day. So it’s important for all of us to do our bit and help our native wildlife survive. In this workshop, we’ll look at practical and cost-effective ways to encourage native flora and fauna back to the burbs by introducing simple design ideas to link existing wildlife corridors to our backyards.

  • We’ll discuss good garden design techniques that use native plants that are appropriate to where you live.

  • We’ll explore the best ways to properly maintain and feed your local varieties.

  • You’ll learn how and when to take cuttings and divisions.

  • We’ll examine how to keep all our native fauna, such as bees, lizards, butterflies and birds happy. 

  • We’ll look at the best water, food and shelter options to encourage native fauna.

  • We’ll run over all the best watering techniques to help your garden bloom.
